Josh Ferguson 
Kent & McBride, P.C.
 

Joshua G. Ferguson is a graduate of Old Dominion University (B.S., Honors Program, 2000), and Widener University School of Law (J.D., cum laude, 2004). He is admitted to the Bars of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and U.S. District Courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the Middle District of Pennsylvania.

 

Josh works primarily in the areas of commercial premises, motor vehicle, contract, and construction defect litigation, and has litigated cases throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He has also been retained as general counsel for a wide variety of businesses, including but not limited to those in the snow removal and landscaping industries.

 

Josh has presented various seminars throughout the United States on First-Party and Third-Party automobile insurance, contract review/creation/negotiation, snow and ice removal, risk management, bad faith claims and general claims handling. Josh also serves as an Arbitrator/Mediator in Pennsylvania.

 


Kevin Gilbride
Accredited Snow Contractors Association (ASCA)
 

Kevin Gilbride is the Executive Director of the Accredited Snow Contractors Association, a trade association dedicated to the advancement of the professional snow and ice management industry and to promoting its role in performing high-risk services to society.

 

Gilbride began his career with GIE Media in 1996, joining the sales force of Lawn & Landscape Magazine, that industry's leading business management publication. He rose through the sales ranks to National Accounts Sales, National Sales Manager, and eventually Group Publisher.

 

In 2010, as Publisher of Snow Magazine, Gilbride and his team launched Snow Magazine's Leadership and Top 100 Conference, a first-of-its-kind, high-end, executive-level education conference. It was at the first conference where industry leaders spoke passionately about the negative impact insurance issues -- namely skyrocketing premiums -- were having on the industry. In August 2011, GIE Media announce the creation of the Accredited Snow Contractors Association, with Gilbride being named Executive Director, the position he holds today.

 

A Cleveland-area native, graduate of St. Ignatius High School and John Carroll University, Gilbride spends his free time with his wife, Annemarie, and their three children, as well as working on his 18 handicap.

Eric is also the founder and Chief Marketing Officer of Square 2 Marketing. Square 2 Marketing was named the “Inbound Agency of the Year” by HubSpot in 2013. A natural entrepreneur, Eric has founded and grown five companies since 1997. A popular writer and public speaker, Eric has provided expert insight on panels and speaking appearances throughout America’s entrepreneurial community. Eric is also a guest lecturer at several Philadelphia area business schools.

 

A graduate of George Washington University (BA) and Temple University (MBA), Eric and his family reside in Center City Philadelphia.


Joyce Layman

Joyce Layman is a national speaker, connector, facilitator and presenter at TEDxUMKC. She shows clients how to overcome the biggest obstacle they face in life – the four inches between their ears. Joyce was fortunate to tap into information that transformed her life. She sought training in The Pacific Institute’s cognitive processes. The same processes which are based on research of the Universities of Stanford, and Washington to name a few.

 

Joyce's ability to take the complex subject of how the mind works and put it in Layman's terms, inspires her clients to step out of the habitual. She connects the dots to help organizations uncover the gaps in their performance, recognize new opportunities and unite in the actions that bring all these things together into one powerful result.

 

With the release of her book, Just Another Leap, Joyce can mark another item off her bucket list. Scott grew up on a dairy farm in Central Minnesota and has mastered the art of riding a lawnmower. He graduated from St. John's University in 2000 with a BA in Communications. When he's not researching or presenting, he enjoys his other role as a self-proclaimed movie-buff and pop culture vulture.
